Started out spraying Fairways with the Toro 300 gallon sprayer:
This is a much newer an updated model of the 200 gallon sprayer. Note the control panel which has the pump switch, boom activators, tank agitator, foam switches and throttle control, all in the same area:
The total area of the fairways is 1, 500, 000 square feet. 1,200,000 of that area we used a water soluble fertilizer 28-8-18 and the preventive dollar spot fungicide, Emerald(Boscalid).
I took some pictures of how the fertilizer breaks down in the water. First emptied it into the screen:

We got these two new fungicides to see how they work. Honor-which is a combination of Boscalid(emerald, a preventive) and Pyraclostrobin(which is a systemic, like propoconizole). Tourney- which is made of the chemical Metconazole. I found information on tourney on the basf website and it says it's a systemic fungicide which is quickly absorbed in the plant and also has demonstrated some preventive properties. A systemic fungicide attacks the disease from inside the plant. In other words if the plant is already infected then a systemic will go inside the plant and kill the pathogen. Where a preventive fungicide will apply a shield on the outside of the plant but will not cure any infected plant.

After spraying I was sent to the now closed Blue Heron Pines East Course to retrieve some Rain Bird 700 and 900 series irrigation heads. I couldn't find any pics of the course when it was open but here is a shot of #14 green, #14 fairway, and #6 fairway. Reminds me of that show "Life After People" on the history channel:
